Helloooooooo everyone!!! 😀 😀 😀
I’m here today to talk about something very dear to me: gaming, technology, computers ❤
This week I went to Sharaf DG and got to see the Predator by Acer stand!! Ohhhh man… I was drooling all over the laptops and the monitors. Hahahahahahaha. The new laptops are coming with a NVIDIA GTX 1070 and if you know a little bit about computers, you know how BEAUTIFUL this is for any laptop or PC. I even posted on my insta stories how much I needed it in my life… HAHAHAHAHAHA. If you follow me on instagram.com/sindy_mohammed you know what I am saying!!
So guess what??
ACER SENT ME LAPTOP!!! They freaking sent me the new Predator 15′ so I get to see what this little monster can do. And God knows how much I got all over it… HAHAHAHAHA.
And now I am here to tell you everything about it 😀 Let’s start with the specs, then I can talk about some details that caught my attention.

I am always in need of a good laptop to work and game when I travel… I had a really good one till last year, but the poor guy had its graphic card burnt to death. I over used it. But such thing shouldn’t exist!! So I got super excited to see that the new Predator 15′ comes with a NVIDIA GTX 1070. This is not just awesome for gaming, but also helps me a lot while editing my videos.
I also rely a lot on a good amount of RAM to edit and render! If you work with videos, you know what I am saying… This process not only takes a heavy load on the computer, but also over heats it a lot! The 32gb RAM is a good deal! But I it would make a huge difference for me if it was a 64GB, which the Predator 17′ is. So if you want more RAM, you can add it to the 15′ or directly get the 17′.
The good thing about both though, is that they come with the Keep Cool technology. I saw it at the stand around 10:30 pm, it was on the entire day and the laptop was cool! Basically room temperature. I don’t know though how it would react after rendering for couple of hours and heavy gaming. As far as I saw gamers online talking about the new Predator, they didn’t have problems with over heating.
The sound system is pretty loud. I comes with 2 front speakers and a subwoofer. I just felt a lack of bass on it. But this is just my personal preference! Hahahaha.
I loved the keyboard! Comfortable and silent. It has a good amount of space between the keys, specially the arrow keys. So if you need them to game, you don’t have to worry about touching other keys on the process. They keys are large, apart from the F1-F12 group. But it comes with 5 special keys, which you can configure as you please. The trackpad is SUPER smooth… I had huge problems with other laptops in which my fingers kept getting “stuck” while using it. The trackpad comes with a special button which disables it to prevent accidental touches while typing, or if you had connected a mouse and don’t need to use it.
The biggest draw back for me though is the weight: almost 4kg! I DO need a laptop this good to travel, but carrying it all the way with me on the airport, transfers, check lines, metro, etc, would kill me. I am waiting for the day in which lightweight gaming technology get cheaper, therefore, more accessible.
Ai ai… But in the end, have you heard of love? That’s what I felt with Predator in hands. I would personally put the weight aside in exchange of good and reliable companion ❤
And you? What do you think of it? Let me know on the comments 😀
You can get your new Predator at Sharaf DG for 6,999 AED.
