EVERYTHING you need to know about Fenty Beauty

Hellooooo everyone!!

Yesterday morning was so awesome… It was the launch event of Fancy Beauty here in Dubai. It took place at Mall of the Emirates, inside Sephora, before the mall opened. I got to try all the makeup and be guided through. Sephora makeup experts helped me find the perfect shades for me and also expained me more about Rihanna’s new brand. There was a cool DJ playing all Rihanna’s famous songs, dancing, photobooth, sweets, coffee and a LOT of makeup talk… So, now, I am here to share with you all about it!! ❤ ❤ ❤

Rihanna, in partnership with Kendo Brands (also responsible for Kat Von D, Marc Jacobs Beauty and many more), launched her global makeup brand, Fenty Beauty, in 1,600 stores across 17 countries on one day. It was insane!! Everyone was so excited for it… And for a good reason: it is one of the first brands to focus on complexion.

Fenty Beauty has 40 shades of Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation; 1 universal Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer; 30 magnetic Match Stix Skinsticks, in both matte and shimmer finishes to contour, correct, conceal, highlight and blush; 6 cream-powder hybrid Killawatt Freestyle Highlighters for face and eyes; Invisimatte Blotting Powder and Paper; 1 universal lip gloss known as Gloss Bomb; and a variety of application tools.

Rihanna was inspired to create Fenty Beauty after trying to find products that worked across all skin types and tones. Fenty Beauty offers a wide range of products for traditionally hard-to-match skin tones, creating formulas that work for all skin types, and pinpointing universal shades. I was so shocked at Sephora on Sunday… I always complain that MANY brands don’t really have good tones for my skin. I feel obligated to wear yellowish tones since I never find the perfect one for myself. And I hate it!! But, for the first time, I got it ON THE SPOT!! Sephora’s makeup specialist applied it on my skin and we just couldn’t tell where there was makeup and where there was not. PERFECT tone!!

Sephora Middle East gifted me some of the products from Fenty Beauty!! I wore them all yesterday and came up with this look:

And now I will share with you their description, my review and prices. So let’s get to it 😀 😀 😀

Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation:

It comes in 40 incredible shades! Mine is the 120. It is medium to full coverage, but the formula is SO LIGHT! It reminds me of the MAC Waterwheight foundation, but with more coverage. Pro Filt’r is oil free, and liquidish enough that makes it super easy to blend in. Last night was super humid and I didn’t feel that the makeup was wearing off nor getting oily. I really loved it… No clogged pores or cakey face.

You can find it in ALL Sephora Middle East stores for 170 AED / 170 QAR / 170 SAR / 13,6 KWD / 17,9  BHD

Match Stix Trio:

This is a 3 sticks bundle that comes with highlighter, concealer and contour. The packaging is magnetized, which is so cool! It not only looks awesome together, but also organizes the sticks together really well. This is the first time EVER I could wear a stick contour. I always had so many problems with them that I preferred the powder ones only. But Fenty Beauty sticks were such a surprise!! No stickiness after the application, super easy to blend, and no cakey effect after applying the setting powder. It is totally my new contouring hack!

You can find it in ALL Sephora Middle East stores for 245 AED / 245 QAR / 245 SAR / 19,6 KWD / 25,7 BHD

Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter:

OMG!!!!! My favorite makeup OF ALL TIMES!! How freakin’ beautiful can one highlighter be? I don’t really know… But I am ADDICTED ❤ ❤ ❤ Sephora gifted me “Trophy Wife” and man…. SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! hahahahahaha. The powder is kinda creamy and easy to apply. The shimmer is the most fantastic thing you will ever see in your life. Long wear and for all skin tones. The duo packages ome with 2 colors, one more subtle for the day and another more shinny for the night. You can apply it on your face, eyes, lips, collarbones… GLOW GIRL!!

You can find it in ALL Sephora Middle East stores for 160 AED / 160 QAR / 160 SAR / 12,8 KWD / 16,8 BHD

Ivisimatte Blotting Powder:

Yes!! My new hack for an oil-free skin throughout the entire day!! It is an invisible powder meant for all skin colors and types. It absorbs the oils while diffusing the pores on your skin. It is traceless, so you won’t see it packing up on the skin, leaving that heavy makeup look. A tip I learnt? Blot the skin before and after applying foundation, and along the day. It will help it last longer!

You can find it in ALL Sephora Middle East stores for 150 AED / 150 QAR / 150 SAR / 12 KWD / 15,8 BHD

Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer:

I am a complete freak over matte lipsticks… But there is something about this lip gloss that I just couldn’t get oer it!! The color is a peachy color that blends on the lips super easy. And it is not only glossy, but also has a golden shimmer to it that is to die for!! Plus, I don’t know if it was something from my mind… But I felt my lips so hydrated after using it. It was awesome!

You can find it in ALL Sephora Middle East stores for 95 AED / 95 QAR / 95 SAR / 7,6 KWD / 10 BHD

FENTY BEAUTY IS 100% CRUELTY FREE

  1. Surprisingly, I have a very difficult time finding a decent foundation. MAC and Bobbi Brown are too yellow. Lancome turns me into Jackie-O-Lantern. The one powder foundation that works well for me is Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten. But–there are just times when you want a liquid foundation. Fenty No. 170 is perfect for my light/cool skin tone.
I also have the primer, which I love.
But the heavens opened up when I applied Gloss Bomb on my mouth. I need to hoard this. I’ve ordered Trophy Wife and the Amber Match Stix from the Fenty site and I’m waiting for the order. Here’s my blog review: https://atypical60.com/2017/09/13/fiti-fiti-fenty-is-riris-cosmetics-line-a-fit-for-the-mature-woman/
